Sea To Sky World

밴쿠버는 온통 뺵뺵한 숲이 이어지는 정원들이 곳곳에 자리를 차지하고 있다. 어디를 가든지 수백년 동안 자란 거목들이 즐비하다. 주택지를 돌아도 꽃과 나무들이 단지를 진초록으로 칠하고 있다. 코퀴틀람 지역으로 가면 거대한 정글이 나타난다. 바로 먼디공원이다. 먼디 호수를 따라 4킬로미터의 트레일 코스가 정 사각형으로 회전하도록 되어 있어서 산책하는 이들에게는 큰 선물이다.​먼디 호수에 비치는 온갖 나무들은 그 잎들의 고운 빛깔이 섬세하게 물결위에 어른거리고 지나는 사람들의 마음에 신비로움을 더해 준다. 홀로 걷기에는 조금 무섭기도 한 곳이기도 하다. 왜냐하면 나무들이 하늘을 찌를 정도로 높아 햇빛을 차단하기 때문에 숲 자체가 대낮에도 어두운 편이다. 그러나 툭터진 호수 중앙에는 형언할 수 없는 아름다운 풍경이 산책하는 이들의 가슴을 시원하게 터뜨린다.

Vancouver has a large gardens throughout town. Hundreds of years old giants can be easily seen from anywhere. Flowers and trees are beautifully coloring housing complexes. A huge jungle Mundy Park appears at the end of Coquitlam, northeastern Vancouver. There is a four-kilometer trail course along Mundy Lake. This is a great gift for those who stroll, which is a bit scary to walk alone. Because the big trees cut off the sunlight and the forest itself is dark.
