샤넌 폭포의 길이는 335m나 된다. 기기묘묘한 절벽 벽화위로 백포의 그림을 그리며 낙하한다. BC주에서는 3번째로 큰 폭포이기도 하다.
The length of Shannon Falls is 335m. This falls falls on a cliff with mysterious murals. It is also the third longest waterfall in BC.

하이웨이 99번을 타고 드라이브하다보면 오른쪽 편에 거대한 폭포줄기가 내려오는 것을 볼 수가 있다. 해브리취 산에서부터 시작된다. 자동차를 주차하고 걸어서 10분 정도 산 언덕을 오르면 생각보다 웅장한 폭포가 나랑으로 떨어지는 소리를 들을 수가 있다. 때로는 푸른 빛으로 때로는 백설처럼 하얀 물줄기로 내려온다. 마치 산을 입을 만한 흰 치마가 출렁이는 듯 하다.
Driving on highway 99, you can see a huge waterfall stem descending in the right mountain range. This waterfall starts from Mount Habriki. Park your car in the Shannon parking lot and walk for about 10 minutes and you will hear a bigger, bigger waterfall falling down the mountain. Sometimes it comes in blue light and sometimes in white water. It looks like a long, white skirt wrapped in a huge rock wall.

샤논 폭포는 밴쿠버에서 차로 35분 정도 걸리는 웅장하고 아름다운 폭포다. 비씨주의 명물이며 수없는 관광객들이 머물고 간다. 백포의 옷을 입고 떨어지는 그들의 심포니가 한 순간도 멈추지 않고 계속된다.
Shannon Falls is a magnificent and beautiful attraction. It takes about 35 minutes by car from Vancouver. It is a tourist attraction of BC and tourists stay in every season. Their cries of falling down in white clothes continue without stopping for a moment....
