밴쿠버는 세계에서 가장 아름다운 항구도시 중에 하나다. 왼쪽으로는 태평양이 출렁이고 오른쪽으로는 록키산맥의 끝자락이 닿는 곳이다. 수려한 수목과 맑고 청명한 날씨 그리고 봄에는 곳곳마다 꽃잔치로 향기가 그윽한 천상의 도시마을이다.
밴쿠버의 다운타운을 중심으로 밴쿠버, 노스밴쿠버, 웨스트밴쿠버, 버나비, 코퀴틀람, 써리, 랭리 등 각 구역들이 자리를 잡고 있다. 지금은 한인타운이 노스버나비에 밀집되어 있다. 코퀴틀람과 맞닿은 경게선에 위치한 이곳은 한아름마켓, 한남슈퍼마켓 주변으로 한인 상가들이 줄을 지어 있다. 공식적으로 한인 인구가 4-5만 정도로 발표되고 있는데 사실 여행객과 방문객을 모두 포함하면 10만 명에 이르는 한국인들이 이곳 밴쿠버에서 거주하고 있는 셈이다.
처음 밴쿠버공항에 도착하면 퀸 엘리자베스 공원 -> 차이나타운 -> 개스타운 -> 캐나다플레이스->스탠리공원 -> 롭슨스트릿 ->그란빌 아일랜드 순으로 관광을 하게 된다.
Vancouver is one of the most beautiful harbor cities in the world. To the left is the Pacific Ocean, to the right is the end of the Rocky Mountains. It is a heavenly city town with beautiful trees, clear and bright weather, and fragrant flowers everywhere in spring.
Starting in downtown Vancouver, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Surrey, and Langley are all over the place. Now Korean Town is densely populated between North Burnaby and Coquitlam. Hanam Market, Hannam Supermarket, located at the border with Coquitlam, is lined with Korean merchants. The official Korean population is reported to be about 50,000. But if you include
both travelers and visitors, there are about 100,000 Koreans living here in Vancouver.
When you first arrive at Vancouver Airport, you will be visiting in the following order. Queen Elizabeth Park -> Chinatown -> Gastown -> Canada Place -> Stanley Park -> Robson Street -> Granville Island.
